This class will give you the professional handling skills you need to teach your dog how to behave in everyday situations. We'll build on basic obedience, leash handling, handler focus, building trust, and so much more. For individuals that want a dog they can take anywhere.

Puppies WITHOUT Issues: Getting Started with a NEW Puppy

For normal to challenging puppies. Learn how a behaviorist raises a puppy starting the day it arrives. This course gets you and your puppy going in creating a beautiful relationship. We'll work on life skills and problem prevention with tips on socialization, obtaining peaceful cohabitation with an older dog, house training, puppy mouthing, household manners, and loads more! You'll also learn how to teach your puppy basic obedience such as coming when called, sit, down, and an introduction to loose leash walking – all while spending some quality bonding time in a fun and safe environment.

Backyard Agility

This is a fun class designed to introduce dogs of any age to agility concepts. Owners learn agility basics and how to play with their dog while the dogs get exercise and the mental stimulation they need. No agility equipment or yard required!

Doggie Come Here (Right NOW Please!)

Does your dog run the other way when you reach for its collar or call its name? Stop chasing your dog around! Learn how to make coming to you fun and rewarding for you both. This class helps participants build a bond with their dog that will get doggie coming (with speed!) every time it's called.

What TO DO with K9 Resource Guarding & Stealing

Concerned because your dog is stealing your stuff? Worried about what may happen if you reach to take an item? If you are no longer comfortable with your dog around food or stolen items, OR your dog has just started stealing and you want tips on preventing development of a major problem, this class is for you. Learn what your dog is communicating and the right response to assuage a tough situation and prevent it from happening in the future. Join us for a 4 week session that concentrates specifically on YOUR issue.

Trick Training - Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced

While dog owners are staying at home practicing social distancing, the AKC Family Dog Program and Do More With Your Dog recently announced that dog owners may teach their dogs tricks at home and submit a video to an AKC CGC Evaluator for review and approval. With your help, your dog can earn trick titles, complete with ribbons and certificates, from the safety and comfort of your home! This applies to all levels of AKC Trick Dog training.
