The world needs more Aunt Marys! Mary was amazing, she is positive and brings such great energy to each interaction and session. She is a master at communication and dog behavior. Her through reviews of our dog's behavior and issues were spot on and her plans and methods to address were clear and fairly easy to implement. While it is ALOT of work (and that's on the dog/owner, and not Mary) and can feel overwhelming at times (like why is my dog like this, what did I do wrong, etc), we have noticed over a 75% decrease in the negative behaviors our dog was displaying. We will continue to work with our dog and believe we will continue to see improvement and results over time.
6 month update
Harper had not only 1 but 2 successful family holiday visits in Dec & Jan where she interacted with 2 dogs (including 1 hyper pit bull) and 2 toddlers/infants. It's like after her training, she was a whole new dog from our summer beach vacation last year (where she was attacking the same dog). I graduated her from her training equipment when walking a while back, and she ignores all dogs she sees on walks pretty much 24/7. She even has 1 or 2 doggie friends she greets and then goes on her way. She is 1000% better than where she started when we first came to see you.
I don't know what you do but you're AMAZING! It also took a lot of hard work on my part with the daily training but totally worth it. We're considering adding a new dog to our house, so that might be the next step in Harper's journey but I feel like we have the tools and methods for success.
Anyways Harper and I send our love and just wanted to give you a positive update on how she's been doing!

Harper is wearing training equipment designed to gently control and limit her fear and arousal in different contexts. Through positive conditioning, she has made positive associations, which have reduced her fear of triggers and lowered her motivation for defensive behavior. With such a huge change in behavior in such a short period of time, there’s no telling what she will accomplish.
