I had recently gone through a major life change losing a spouse and then moving to a new place where I was renting a room. My 5 year old chihuahua started exhibiting massive levels of separation anxiety to the point where she was hurting herself whenever I left the house even for a short while. The barking and crying also made it tough on my roommate/landlord so I also worried about eviction. Needless to say I desperately needed help and I was fortunate enough to find Mary on her website.

From the first communication I had a good feeling that she was the right one to help my dog. She was very empathetic and responded promptly to email. She had me write down a virtual biography of my dog before our first consultation. I could tell she was paid close attention to detail which was important to me.

We met for the consultation and she came up with a plan completely custom tailored for my dog. It was a lot of work for my dog and I, but I could not be happier. She gave us directions and worked with us and the vet if things needed to be readjusted. She came up with so many creative solutions and angles to chip away at the problem. In the process my dog was also house trained within a time frame of two weeks. I came in to get help with her anxiety, and was blown away to get that significantly reduced while getting the added bonus of a newly house trained dog. I’ll repeat that, my 5-year old chihuahua was house trained in 2 weeks.

Another aspect that I really enjoyed about Mary is that she is on the cutting edge of her profession. Some of her recommendations were bleeding edge and she also debunked many classic dog behavioral myths that I had always accepted.

I am glad I made the investment. Though I tried, I could not google a cure for my dog’s anxiety. I needed an expert and I got one.

It has been almost 4 months and it is like I a have a new dog. She may always have slight anxiety here and there, but it is nothing compared to what it was and our lives have changed for the better.

I highly recommend Mary to anyone who needs an expert to rehabilitate and renew their pet.
